I'm Sebastian. I study Laser Physics, currently at Oxford.

Here's a bit of my philosophy of photography for you to understand what I do:

I shoot outdoors, I've had enough of setting up optical systems indoors at work. You won't find me lighting up a studio. I don't mess with umbrellas; I despise tripods and other junk. I can take your corporate headshot, but I will not. I find calling photography "art" enormously pretentious. There's this incredibly well-engineered piece of semiconductor magic paired with a chunk of precision glass that does all the heavy lifting. I credit the engineers who fixed all the aberrations of the lens, and made it waterproof, for god's sake, that's what's hard. The photographer's only job is not to mess it up. A quality sensor, fast electronics, a single prime lens, tiny bit of editing, and careful curation is the whole recipe. And being where you're supposed to be at the right time.

Go through my gallery and see whether my approach works for you. If you are planning a trip or have an idea for an adventure, message me. I'll be happy to make friends and take some sick photographs.
